What actually moves your premium, what to ignore, and a real number in three minutes. No calls, no data selling, no 'from $14 a month' fantasy.
01 · What moves the number
01
Age, driving history, occupation, and license type. Under-25s and over-70s pay more. Five years no-claims is the single biggest lever you can pull.
02
Insurance group (1–50), value, engine size, and modifications. A used estate in group 12 will always beat a hot hatch in group 32, even if the sticker price is identical.
03
ZIP code, annual mileage, overnight parking, and whether the car is used for commuting or business. ZIP code alone can swing the price by 30%.
