Trust & transparency

Editorial standards.

Quote Shifter exists to make US insurance understandable. These are the rules our editorial team follows to keep it that way — separate from, and senior to, our commercial team.

Our four principles

What we commit to.

01

Plain English, always.

If a policy phrase requires a glossary, we translate it. Every guide is written for a first-time buyer, not a broker.

02

Independence from commercials.

Reviewers do not see referral-fee data. Our editorial ranking rubric is public. Providers cannot pay for placement, ever.

03

Sourced and dated.

Every figure is sourced from state DOI data, ABI statistics, or our own quarterly quoting basket. Every article carries a last-reviewed date.

04

Reviewed by licensed humans.

Every guide is signed off by a licensed US insurance analyst before publication and re-reviewed at least once every 12 months.

Our experts

The humans behind every guide.

Every article on Quote Shifter is written and reviewed by a named, credentialed person. No pen-name bylines. No AI-only articles.
